TENS is a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation device that sends electrical impulses to various parts of the body.

The TENS machine can alleviate the perception of pain and stimulate the body to produce endorphins blocking pain signals from the brain and breaking the pain cycle.

TENS is used to treat a number of acute and chronic pain conditions. These include DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), acute or chronic back and neck pain, knee or elbow pain, arthritis and fibromyalgia pain. The TENS machine can encourage relaxation, increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, reduce the perception of pain by stimulating nerves and activating muscle contractions.
